Although it can be played as a standalone game, it can be linked to other games in the My City game franchise.

Gameplay and Graphics

As it is part of the My City franchise, its gameplay and graphics are pretty much exactly the same as the others. The graphics are nice, colorful, and cartoony. It will definitely hold the interest of its target audience.The gameplay in all these games tend to be a bit limited. There doesn’t seem to be an overarching objective that you need to accomplish in order to in. In fact, the game doesn’t seem to have a concept of winning or losing at all. It’s an open-ended game where you can live a virtual life. You can create new characters, dress them, have them interact with other characters, and explore their environment.As mentioned above, the game can be linked to other games in the franchise which means users can play all the My Town games as one expansive game. This game offers new real life locations to explore. There is the Baby Hospital where mother can give birth, the Baby Store for new baby items, the Baby Doctor Office where moms and kids can get check-ups. Finally, there is the Celebration Hut where players can celebrate the birth of the baby with a party.There are also a lot of new baby-related items available for purchase in the Baby Store. Users can take their newborn out for strolls with a baby stroller, for example.

A Nice Addition to the Franchise

My City: Newborn Baby adds nothing new to the franchise in terms of gameplay, story, or graphics. However, it does add a bit more content, and for fans of the My City games, it’s a worthwhile addition. It’s certainly a good and non-offensive way to keep kids occupied.
